Description

Freshly baked whole grain bread rolls with butter and jam in the morning - the perfect way to start the day on the right foot! This baking mix makes about 15 bread rolls. Delicious, fresh and easy to prepare!

In addition to the baking mix, you will need the following fresh ingredients:
9 g dry yeast or ½ cube fresh yeast, about 515 g lukewarm water

Method:

  • Stir the yeast into 515 g lukewarm water in a large bowl
  • Add the baking mix and knead briefly
  • Food processor kneading time: 7 -10 minutes
  • Place the dough on a floured work surface, cover and let it rise at room temperature for about 45 minutes
  • After the resting time, divide the dough into 14 or 15 pieces weighing 75-80 g each and shape into rolls
  • Place the rolls on a perforated baking tray (or a regular baking tray) and let rise for another 30 minutes
  • Preheat the oven (convection, 230 °C)
  • Score the rolls with a sharp knife or blade, spray water on them and sprinkle some flour. Place the tray in the oven
  • Immediately sprinkle water on the hot oven floor to generate steam
  • Bake for 5 minutes at 230°C, then reduce the temperature to 180°C and bake for a further 15 minutes
  • To check if the rolls are done, tap on the bottom. If it sounds hollow, they're ready
  • Cool completely on a wire rack and enjoy!

One pack of the baking mix makes 14 to 15 fresh rolls.
