Description
Bake your own loaf of fresh, crusty bread at home! The Gelassenheit baking mix by Berghofer Mill makes it easy - no guesswork or magic spells necessary! The finest rye and spelt flour give the bread its strong aroma and taste.
In addition to the baking mix, you will need the following fresh ingredients:
9 g dry yeast or ½ cube fresh yeast, about 430 g lukewarm water,
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
Preparation:
- Stir the yeast and sunflower oil into 430 lukewarm water in a large bowl.
- Add the baking mix and knead briefly.
- Food processor kneading time: 7 - 10 minutes
- Place the dough on a floured work surface, cover and let it rise at room temperature for about 30 minutes
- Shape the dough and place in a greased loaf pan or line it with baking paper first.
- Cover the dough and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven (convection, 230 ° C ).
- Place the baking tin with the dough in the oven.
- Immediately sprinkle the hot oven floor with water to generate steam.
- Bake for about 10 min at 230 ° C, then reduce the temperature to 180°/185°C and bake for a further 40-45 min.
- If using a loaf tin lined with baking paper, take the bread out of the tin 10-15 minutes before the end of the baking time and finish baking without the tin.
- If the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottm, it's ready.
- Cool completely on a wire rack and enjoy!
One pack of the baking mix makes about 1 kg of freshly baked bread.
