Description

FeTo is made by fermenting fresh natural tofu with vegan lactic acid bacteria starter cultures. This process lends the product a mildly acidic flavour and salty note. Innovative, vegan, delicious.

Recommendation: FeTo can be enjoyed both warm and cold. It tastes great in a salad or when served with sweet fruit such as honeydew melons or berries.

Recipe: Mediterranean FeTo Dip with Olives

For this delicious dip you will need:

  • 200 g Taifun FeTo Natural
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons of soy drink or water
  • 100 g black olives, pitted and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped or crushed
  • 1 teaspoon herbs de Provence
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation time: 10 - 15 min
Difficulty level: easy

Method:

  1. Cut the FeTo into large cubes.
  2. Place the FeTo cubes, olive oil, herbs de Provence, salt and pepper in a tall mixer jar. Add the soy drink (or water) and use the hand mixer to blend until you get a creamy mix.
  3. Stir in finely chopped olives, garlic and lemon juice.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve as a dip with breadsticks, crackers, pretzel sticks or raw vegetables.
