Description
Xylitol, also known as birch sugar, is extracted from corn leaves and the remains of corn cobs. It is ideal for baking, cooking and sweetening your favourite foods because it has 40% fewer calories per 100 grams than refined sugar but tastes just as sweet.
Xylitol does not crystallise when baked and can be substituted 1:1 for normal sugar. Use it to sweeten pastries, jams, lemonade etc.
Recommended use:
