Arche Naturküche Organic Glass Noodles, 200 g

This Asian noodle speciality lives up to its name and is nearly transparent. It is made with pure organic pea starch.

Glass noodles can be used in many different ways such as in stir-fries, in spring rolls, summer rolls and as a tasty addition to soups and salads.

Preparation:

1. In soups or sauces: add them directly to the boiling soup or sauce and simmer together for about 4 minutes.
2. As a side dish or for recipes without sauce: Place the required amount of glass noodles in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Fluff up a little with a fork, cover the bowl and leave for 5 minutes. Drain and continue as desired.
3. Frying: Heat oil in a large pot to frying temperature (hold a wooden stick in the hot oil. If a lot of small bubbles are visible on the wood, the temperature is right.). Pull the glass noodles apart and place them in portions in the hot oil. The noodles "puff up" and become snow-white. Lift out of the oil with a slotted spoon and let drain. A great crunchy addition to soups, salads or stir-fries with sauce!
