For this aromatic, intense and at the same time mild spice, Spanish peppers (from the La Vera region) are gently smoked over oak for 14 days. When the Pimenton de la Vera is then ground, care is taken to ensure that neither the stem nor the seeds are processed. So the aroma remains fruity-sweet and smoky, without bitter notes.

The bright red paprika powder is ideal for strong stews: above all, it gives chili con / sin carne or goulash not only the characteristic smoky flavour, but also the typical red colour.
