Rapunzel Organic Long Grain White Rice

This organic long-grain rice (variety: Gladio) is grown in the Po Valley of northern Italy. They are watered with pure spring water from the Alps. It has a mild taste and is versatile in use. Despite its smooth surface, it is slightly sticky and holds sauces very well. It is ideal to make rice balls and fillings and is delicious as a side dish and in desserts too.

Instructions for preparation: To cook 250 g, you will need 2.5 times water. Bring the water to a boil, add the rice and lower the heat. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the rice rest for 5 minutes with the lid on. Add salt only after cooking!
