Description
Cinnamon is said to have a warm, woody, spicy and sweet taste. It is ideal for use in cakes, pastries and pies. In the Middle Ages, cinnamon was very expensive in Europe and therefore very prestigious. As a result, it was used only on special occasions such as Christmas.
