Description

A special formula for the special dietary needs of babies from birth onwards as the sole source of nutrition and for supplementary nutrition after 6 months.

Humana SL Expert has been developed for infants and young children and is intended for feeding and supporting babies with cow's milk intolerance due to lactose intolerance, galactosaemia or cow's milk protein allergy.

The special formula is an alternative to infant formulas based on cow's milk. Humana SL Expert is instead based on soy protein isolate and therefore does not contain the carbohydrate lactose.

Formula for special medical purposes (balanced diet).
Humana SL Expert is suitable for diet management in case of cow's milk intolerance caused by lactose intolerance, galactosaemia or cow's milk protein allergy in infants.

Important information about Humana SL Expert:

  • Breast milk is the best nutrition for your baby. Consult your paediatrician or doctor if you would like to use infant formula.
  • Humana SL Expert is based on soy protein and is not suitable for those who are allergic to soy protein or have a glucose metabolism disorder.
  • Humana SL Expert is suitable as the sole nutrition of infants from birth onwards or as a supplementary food after 6 months.
  • Humana SL Expert can be given to babies with cow's milk protein allergy after 6 months.
  • Use under medical supervision only.
  • Please consult your doctor about the individual dietary management options for cow's milk protein allergies in infants under 6 months.
  • Humana SL Expert should be tested for tolerability under medical supervision, as highly sensitive infants may show allergic reactions in rare instances.
  • Suitable for enteral feeding only.
  • Do not let your baby suck on the bottle for prolonged periods of time. Like breast milk, infant formula contains carbohydrates which can cause tooth decay in case of frequent or prolonged contact with the teeth.
  • Once opened, close the pack tightly after each use and use it up within 2 weeks.

Dosage:
Please only use the measuring spoon enclosed in this pack to measure out the powder. (1 measuring spoon holds approx. 4.7 g powder).
