Description
Tender cashew nuts with their fine, nutty aroma are very popular as a snack. They are high in unsaturated fatty acids, proteins and magnesium and are therefore a wonderful addition to a nutritious diet.
Cashew nuts are also a delicious addition to Asian stir-fried dishes and other spicy curries. Since they are unsalted, they can also be used in sweet desserts, cakes and pastries.
Tip: This large pack is particularly suitable for those who want to make cashew nut paste at home. We recommend roasting the cashew nuts in the oven at 130 °C (convection) for about 25 minutes. Cool completely and carefully grind to a paste in a powerful food processor.
Caution: Be careful not to let the nuts get too warm during the grinding process (lukewarm at most)! That will cause the oil to separate and the result will not be creamy. Also, the motor of your food processor could overheat if the machine gets too hot.
