This parmesan is aged for 60 months! The excellent hard cheese is made from partially skimmed raw cow's milk and rennet, giving it a wonderful character! Connoisseurs appreciate the long-lasting flavour, the abundance of aroma and the extremely fine, elegant texture.
The cheese pairs extremely well with Mostarda, sweet wines or speciality beers from Italy. The grande signore of the Parmesan varieties as makes a lovely dessert and pairs well with dessert trays. The cheese comes from Emilia Romagna, Italy, which is known for its medieval towns and for being close to the border that divides butter folks from olive oil folks. Regardless of how you feel about the butter vs olive oil debate, you're sure to enjoy this parmesan on lots of dishes!
