Bake Affair Organic Toast

With this baking mix for soft organic wheat toast, you can now have fresh toast at any time, regardless of the opening hours of your bakery or supermarket. Golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside - pure pleasure in every slice!

You only need 3 ingredients to make 500 g organic toast:

• 1 can organic toast baking mix
• 215 ml of water
• 25 g neutral oil

Baking pan: loaf pan or toast pan

Resting time for the dough: 2 x 45 - 60 min at room temperature

Baking time: 10 min at 230°C and another 20 min at 190°C (top / bottom heat)

And that's how easy it is to make your fluffy, moist bread:

1. Open the seal and pour the baking mix into a sufficiently large bowl or the mixing bowl of your food processor or your Thermomix.
2. Add 13 g of oil and water. Tip: To measure the water, you only have to fill the can up to the water line printed on the inside.
3. Knead the dough with your hand, the food processor or the Thermomix for about 3 minutes.
4. Cover the mixing bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rest for 45 - 60 minutes (room temperature, approx. 24°C) until the volume has approximately doubled.
5. Meanwhile, you can grease your baking pan with the remaining 12 g of oil.
6. Then knead your dough briefly and form a 20 cm long loaf. Divide this into 4 equal portions.
7. Turn the dough pieces 90° clockwise and place them in the baking pan with the cut surface facing outwards. Let the dough rest for another 45-60 minutes. Before the end of the resting time, you can preheat the oven to 230°C (top / bottom heat).
8. Bake the toast for 10 minutes and then reduce the heat to 190°C. Bake for a further 20 minutes. Enjoy!!
