Description
The Original RADATZ Käsekrainer sausages are made with the best Austrian pork and beef, smoked over beech wood and bacon. Savoury Emmentaler cheese is incorporated into the sausage meat mixture which melts when heated.
RADATZ Käsekrainer sausages have a delicious savoury taste and can be prepared in hot water, cooked on a grill or in a pan. In Vienna, käsekrainer sausages are almost always grilled to create the "cheese foot" that forms in the pan or on the grill plate as the cheese melts and runs out of the sausage skin when heated.
RADATZ's recommended method of preparation:
- Pierce the sides of the Käsekrainer sausages with a fork before roasting.
- Brush the sausages with oil and fry slowly. Turn a few times and carefully prick up to three more times.
- Let the sausages rest in the pan for 3 minutes before serving to allow the typical "cheese foot" to form.
